Mechanical engineering is one of the most versatile disciplines among the wide spectrum of engineering studies. Some of the areas in mechanical engineering such as production automobile, aeronautical, marine, and industrial, tool and die engineering have developed as independent full-fledged disciplines. Any industry requires inputs from mechanical engineering. There is substantial research work in the diverse fields of this broad discipline.
The study of mechanical engineering bestows the scholar with an excellent general education and prepares students for the multifaceted challenges of our evolving technological world. As one might imagine, a merger of this complexity is not achieved overnight. The next few years will witness exciting changes in our research portfolio, faculty demographics, and academic programs.
Our mission is to prepare our graduates to apply basic and advanced engineering knowledge and skills to the research, analysis, and design of engineering systems. The departmental all staff put them on track to become leaders in the global workforce and/or to enter top-rated post-graduate programs. While we require a solid grounding in the fundamentals, we also provide instruction in state-of-the-art tools.
Current areas of strength within the department include, but are not limited to, well equipped laboratories consisting all advance equipments, instruments and software. Well qualified faculties works very hard, motivate the students and provide advance knowledge than in syllabus and full fledge workshop with all required tools and machines provides technical working knowledge by the hard efforts of our technical experts. Last but not least the strong support of management and Principal for the development of department and work culture.
To develop the student’s with innovative minds in mechanical engineering and technology to seek global and social opportunities through research and entrepreneurship.
