Electrical Engineering Department Overview.

The department of Electrical Engineering will be recognized for its outstanding undergraduate teaching and outreach programs, and for the quality and integrity of its graduates and faculty Be recognized as one of the elite departments through research, innovation in education, and the transfer of concepts and results to technology and engineering practical. To provide our student an undergraduate educate of the highest quality. To educate graduate students in research, scholarship, and the intellectual life. Electrical Engineering Department was established in 2010, with an annual intake of 60 students per year to impart quality technical education to students, with highly qualified and hard working staff, the department has developed excellent laboratory facilities and teaching methodology to shape the students into a bright engineer which can meet the need of industry.

  • Established in Year 2010 – 2011 having investment of equipment 61 lacs
  • Department is having 13 Nos. teaching staff and 05 Nonteaching staff
  • All teaching staff members are well qualified.
  • Two staff members is Perusing Ph.D
  • Regular guest lecture are conducted in department for faculty development & student .
  • Department having a library & reading room with all the reference book prescribed by Pune University.

The mission of the Department of Electrical Engineering at SBPCOE Indapur is to provide skills, knowledge and values. This will allow its graduates to succeed as engineers and leaders to contribute in economic, social and scientific development of India.

Goals:

In support of the Goals of the College of Engineering, the Electrical Engineering major will prepare our students to be proficient at putting theory into practice, capable of lifelong learning, and be aware of the social, ethical, and environmental issues associated with their professional activities.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Electrical Engineering graduates will be employable in the diversified sectors of the industry, government organizations, electrical contractor-ship and multinational corporations or pursue higher education in electrical engineering. Graduates will understand the need to maintain their technical skills and develop new ones through personal development and lifelong learning.

Program Outcomes (POs)

The graduate will able to demonstrate a broad education and knowledge of contemporary issues in a global and societal context and demonstrate a general knowledge of professional behavior and ethical responsibility toward employers, customers, and society. The graduate will demonstrate the ability to identify, formulate, and present creative solutions to technical problems in a variety of the specialty areas comprising electrical engineering technology.
